Ok, STOP! I travel the US extensively and I couldn't believe this place. It's labeled as a tavern and it is. A tavern with an amazing vibe, absolutely incredible food and service that I dare you to find fault with. When you pull up, you'll think you're in the wrong place. But lift your nose to the air. Amazing! The vibe inside is cheeky and fun. The staff is warm and welcoming and the size of the plated food is mind blowing. The taste is NOTHING but incredible. If this place pops up in your search and you are within an hour (or more) away, turn your vehicle this way and be prepared to eat copious amounts of incredible food served by the sweetest staff. # 1 favorite place to eat for me, 1-5 I give it a 10 :-) Lula's is the best ever, if your waiting to be seated, could be 10 minutes, could be 30, that should be a hint the food and service is amazing and worth the wait!
A friend and I were in town for business and Lula's was recommended to us. What a unique place! The food was delicious and the service was spectacular.
All their food is delicious. I don't like a lot of the bay seasoning they put on their boiled shrimp. They have really good ribeyes, prime rib and their cheeseburgers are awesome. You have to get there right when they open at 4 otherwise you could wait an hour or more to get seated. It is worth the wait though.
Been going here for years, and they've always reliably had amazing food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. It is a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the quality. Show up early, or be prepared for a wait!
This is a hit every time I eat here! If you're looking for the definition of a hole in the wall restaurant then this is it! The food is always amazing, and the food is even better! The servers are so friendly and if you frequent enough they'll get to know you and know your order. I have nothing bad to say about this place. This is simply good hometown food! I will always recommend this place to anyone stopping into town!
Easily my favorite place to eat in the United States. The shrimp platter is stacked high with the best shrimp I've ever tasted...yes even better than Florida! Don't let the outside appearance fool you, Lulas is a VERY popular place because of their juicy Rib Eye Steak meal, the huge Prime Rib dinner, the Famous Spiced Boiled Shrimp platter, and the most unreal baked potatoes & homemade fresh fries. Lulas can get very busy because of how amazing the food is...expect to wait a bit! When you walk in, give your name to a server at the bar. Enjoy!
